On Movies

So I used to be this guy that used to write all kinds of movie reviews here and publish all the latest movie news. I don't know what happened to that guy. I still LOVE movies. I haven't been to the movie theater since The Dark Knight. Yeah. There's a ton of stuff I want to see but I think I'm going to wait for the DVD. But then those DVDs have to compete with TV shows and video games.

I've definitely been in a video game frame of mind lately. I've been playing a lot of GTA IV and Duke Nukem 3D online. I'm also finally trying to beat GTA IV. I'm a bit stuck on the very last mission on the Revenge storyline. You have to chase this guy who is on a boat while you are on a bike and I'm just having a hard time on the bike. Perhaps I need to practice.

TV is back in full swing. I'm currently watching Fringe, The Office, SNL, Heroes, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, How I Met Your Mother, and True Blood. It's a little hard to keep up on everything but I really like The Sarah Connor Chronicles so far this season. How I Met Your Mother has had a great start too. I haven't caught up on Heroes yet but I've heard some very mixed things. We'll see. I tend to disagree with the popular opinion, not on the fact that it's popular but it just seems that historically I have an odd taste.

So what are you guys into right now, as if I needed any more ideas?

My netflix queue has 3 more seasons of Oz, followed by 3 seasons of Deadwood. I am playing catch up. The only TV show I hate to miss is The Office. I'm getting as much TV in now because I will start Grad School in the spring. I really want to see Alan Ball's Towelhead.

Terminator (I have a love-hate relationship with this series), Heroes (I have a like-hate relationship with this series), Samantha Who? (when it returns), House, Fringe (we'll see how it develops), Pushing Daisies (back this week!), America's Next Top Model, Kath and Kim (gonna try it out), Grey's Anatomy, The Office, 30 Rock, Life on Mars (gonna try it out), The 11th Hour (gonna try it out), Crusoe (because I like the book), The Simpsons, The Soup, Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, and Project Runway.

And on Hulu, I just finished three seasons of Bob Newhart and am now watching The Facts of Life, which I am now determined to buy if I ever have daughters.

I am beyond excited for the return of Pushing Daisies. I've seen a couple clips of the new stuff and it looks good. I really hope Paul Reubens comes back.

I used to watch shows like The Facts of Life and One Day at a Time with my mom, but I totally don't remember them at all.

Got to say that im really enjoying terminator. Fringe im enjoying but hoping for more from.
The one big tv thing that hooks me every week is BONES. And considering i dont like cop/forensic shows, it`s proberly one of the best things on tv.
